Again the US Aces played the Italians. The US had Blumenthal for Soloway while the Italians had replaced Avarelli, D'Alelio and Pabis Ticci. The big news of the tournament was the first 32 boards of the final, won by the Italians 128 to 5. A good selection of hands from the qualifying stages is matched by fine overall presentation.
