Once again it came down to a final between Italy and North America. The American's rallied to trail by only 17 with one set to go. However, once again, the Italians proved too strong. Truscott contributed a short piece on the first Women's World Team Championship for the Venice Cup. For a change it was the US victorious, defeating an Italian team. The book was the usual, professional work.
