Description:
Review by Tim Bourke: This comprehensive manual on the play of the cards is a little too verbose, giving it a somewhat bloated feel. However, while the auctions are dated and there is the occasional howler of analysis, it is a seminal work as it is the first major technical step forward on covering many of the basic aspects of the play of the cards. Modern readers are sure to find the 1958 edition, edited by Sam Fry Jnr, more palatable. Expensive to post.
