This merged Goren with a strong 1C, a limited 2C opening and an artificial ace-asking 2D opening.  It was certainly superior to Goren but had a limited life. One reason was because it maintained many of the inconsistencies of that older system. Also, both  Blue Club and Precision came along in the late 1960s and both provided much better system structure.
