The first part of the book discusses competitive bidding using the author's "3D" methods; for example a 1S overcall of 1H promises 4+S and 4+C. The Mafia (MAjors FIrst Always) is a 16+ point 1C system; a 1D opening denies a major, 1NT is 13-15p, 2C 4441s with 16+p or 20+ balanced. The ideas have some interest but they languish as almost unknown.
