Description:
Review by Tim Bourke: This is a book on bidding that, judged by modern standards, lacks any real attention to partnership agreements. However, it was relatively mainstream in its day in the case of a suit declaration (which could be made on as little as AKxxx and nothing else) but it advised that you needed a better than average hand for a 1NT call. Apart from perhaps the introduction and an overview of the 1917 Laws, it is of little interest, except perhaps to a Bridge historian. A detail index was added for the 1919 edition.
