Review by Tim Bourke: This is an irreverent look at the Culbertson-Lenz match that did not please the great Ely. Some said that the vitriol perceived by both sides of this minor fracas stemmed from the way an affair between Culbertson and Kerwin ended. Certainly this piece of gossip makes the book the more interesting. Worth reading, particularly in conjunction with the major work on the match, "Famous Hands of The Culbertson-Lenz Match".
