Description:
The set is called the Olympic Duplicate Bridge Boards Copyrighted 1932 by Bridge World Inc., 570 Lexington Ave, NY. The 16 boards are paper envelopes, grained like leather, that hold the 4 pockets for the cards.
The Bridge World mailed these sets of boards to clubs around the world to compete in the Olympiad under strict supervision at the country's top clubs. Results were carefully monitored and collated and mailed back.
The 16 decks of cards are made by Western Playing Card Co., Racine, WI and are listed in Hochman as MSW131b.
All the decks have some foxing and a few cards have slight creases, but look as if they have not been used very much .
The boards are in good condition, all have their tax stamps.
